You can help MND Research by attending a donor drive for DNA samples
- You are invited to contribute a small blood sample to the Bank.
- We ask that you also complete a questionnaire (which we can send you beforehand) to assess your possible exposure to environmental agents that could play a part in MND.
- Some people who do not have MND – relatives and friends - are also needed for our research (you must be over 18 years old).
- There will be a talk about the latest research on MND

The Australian Motor Neuron Disease DNA Bank has been set up to
look for genetic susceptibility to all forms of Motor Neuron Disease.
The aim of the Bank is to provide a resource for researchers undertaking
studies into the causes of MND. The Bank is managed by A/Prof
Roger Pamphlett in the Faculty of Medicine at The University of
Sydney.
